Can you tell I have AS?  Haha  (48yo M officially an Aspie on 19/2/2009)
I saw 'The world of Asperger's' on the ABC Science show Catalyst 28/8/08
I potted around the internet until I read a page on 19/12/2008.
Then, I was 100% convinced I has AS.
Yay, finally the world believes my problems are real.
I have known I was different since 7 years old.
The attachment is 20 quotes + 3 of my own.
Keep up the good work.
Thank you.
Regards
Colin

Can I suggest a slight change:
I have been in cased in an ice cube far too long.
It is time to LET THE ICE MELT and BREAK FREE
Alyson Bradley

Reply:
I agree, sometimes thoughts come to me and I just add as with feeling like I live a parallel existence at times, having associated neurological conditions which include intellectual learning differences.... means at times language itself seems foreign to me!

But the perfectionist in me now suggestion has been mentioned will not allow me to leave it as it is, so thank you from pointing out... as I agree it improves the quote..

and I have added your quotes you send to web page, as motivation and friendship are important to all of us, and the quotes you send me are great, I especially like this one:
The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances:
if there is any reaction, both are transformed. Carl Jung

Feel that could apply to the asd and the world, the tide is turning we just have to help others understand...

I love the quote in your signature block~ "Believe in your self, we are who we are - as it can feel like an endless task trying to be someone else!"
